The Gbom Gwom Jos, Da Jacob Gyang Buba is seeking reconciliation between Fulanis and Plateau State government over the recent expulsion of hundreds of Fulani nomads from Bashar in Wase Local Government Area. Gyang who was at the Lamido Adamawa's palace in Yola said everyone in the state was equal, irrespective of tribal differences.
He commended the emirate for the cordial relationship that exists between Adamawa and Plateau States. "I will strive to restore confidence in the people and I solicit your prayers," he said.
Responding, the Lamido who expressed appreciation for the call for reconciliation and forgiveness told the visiting monarch that Fulanis were peaceful, resilient and above all, easy going .
The Lamido told the Gbom Gwom that the palace was open to him. Later at a different forum, he urged Plateau and Nassarawa State indigenes in Adamawa to live in peace with their host communities.
