Luanda — Angola's roller hockey team ended its participation at 39th World Championship with a 2-3 loss suffered at the hands of France.
By halftime the match to determine the 5th and 6th placed team was levelled nil-nil.
The Angolan goals were scored by André Centeno and Rui André, while France scored through Henry, Sebastian and Tarrassou.
By lying in the 6th position, Angola obtained its best ranking in a World Roller Hockey Championship after beating Italy by 5-2.
In their debut encounter, the Angolans beat the Colombians by 3-0, afterwards it drew 2-2 with Mozambique and lost the world champions (Spain) by 3-2. Playing for semi-finals, Angola lost 4-0 against Brazil.
