Zambia: Muteteka is Community Deputy Minister

PRESIDENT Rupiah Banda has appointed Chisamba Member of Parliament Moses Muteteka as deputy minister in the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services.

The president's special assistant for Press and public relations Dickson Jere said in a statement that Mr Banda also transferred Community Development and Social Services deputy minister, John Chinyanta to Northern Province in the same capacity.

Northern Province Minister Charles Shawa has been moved to Lusaka in the same capacity to replace Lameck Mangani who was appointed Home Affairs minister.

Mr Jere said that the president had also appointed director of State functions Eddie Mwanza as principal private secretary to the president replacing Dr Austin Sichinga who was elevated to the position of chief of staff.
