Kampala — Two senior MPs could soon face criminal prosecution for fraud after Police detectives reported unearthing evidence incriminating them in a failed multi-billion joint venture real estate deal.
Mr Moses Sakira, the deputy CID director in charge of investigations, has written to the Directorate of Public Prosecutions, calling for the trial of Mr Henry Banyenzaki (NRM, Rubanda West) and Mr Ben Wacha (Ind., Oyam North) for allegedly falsifying documents/payment receipts to register Executive Property Holdings Ltd (Ephol) with the Registrar of Companies.
