Botswana's year-on-year inflation continued to weaken in the month of June, falling by a further 1.4 percentage points to end at 7 percent from 8.4 percent, the Central Statistics Office (CSO) reported on Wednesday.
Although there was an increase in fuel prices in June, which was expected to slow down annual inflation, the rate is now at a 24-month low. The last time annual inflation was 7 percent or less was in June 2007 when it stood at 6.4 percent.
