Cement maker Athi River Mining (ARM) plans to build a Sh2.3 billion electricity generation plant that will help cut its energy costs by more than 25 per cent.
ARM's new chairman, Mr Rick Ashley, says the new plant that will use coal. It is to be built in Kaloleni, Mombasa in the next two years and projected to produce 30 megawatts.
