Nigeria: NSE Confers Fellowship on Benue Commissioner

Makurdi — The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), has honoured its member and commissioner for Works, Housing and Transport in Benue State , Engr. Mnena Shija with the conferment of the Distinguish Fellowship, saying the quality of her output speaks for her.

Engr. Shija, who was accompanied by her family and Governor Gabriel Suswam who graced the dinner and award night of the society, weekend in Makurdi, the state capital, was handed the honour by the President of the Society, Engineer Kashim Abdul Ali. Conferring the title, NSE President, Kashim Abdul Ali said the honouraree became the first female engineer to be conferred the fellowship in her part of the country, stressing that the quality of her output makes the society proud to have her as a member.
