Mozambique: Brazil is 'Partner in the Fight Against Poverty'

Brasilia — Mozambican President Armando Guebuza has praised his Brazilian counterpart, Luis Inacio Lula da Silva, for turning Brazil into "a true ally and partner in the fight against poverty".

In a speech at a launch offered by Lula in Brasilia on Tuesday, Guebuza stressed that though Brazil was already known before Lula was elected President, he managed "to take Brazil to Africa and to the world at large, and made it known, not only for its great football, but also for the wonderful things that this country has been doing for the welfare of Africans and the rest of the world".
