Harare — COMMUNITY theatre and theatre clubs have always played a crucial role in being the nerve centre, hub and springboard for aspiring actors to careers in professional acting in film, theatre and television.
To hammer this point home, one just needs to see the amount of talent that some community theatre groups in the so-called ghettos of Mbare, Highfield, Mabvuku, Tafara, Epworth, Norton and Chitungwiza, among others, have produced over the years who are now professional actors.
