Addis Abeba — Protecting sexual violence against children becomes more difficult due to 'diminutive, inconsistent knowledge and interpretation' of laws among legal bodies, a new study conducted by the African Child Policy Forum, revealed.
The study, conducted in five regions of the country, indicated persons suspected of committing sexual violence against children would not come to court as per their obligation, as a result of inconsistent interpretation of laws from legal bodies.
