Zimbabwe: Tongaat Hulett Gets 50 Percent Profit FromCountry

Harare — LOCAL operations of South African-based agro-processing firm Tongaat Hulett have contributed at least 50 percent of the R644-million that the company expects to realise from profits from its sugar operations.

The local operations include agri-based sugar company Triangle Li mited which wholly-owns Hippo Valley Estates Limited in which Triangle Sugar Corporation Limited acquired a 50,35 percent stake in December 2006.
