Uganda: Kalangala Gets ICT Tips

Kampala — Kalangala district leaders and fishermen must stand up for their rights against telecommunication service providers, according to the industry watchdog.

"Do not tolerate poor quality service," said Fred Otunu, the manager of consumer affairs in Uganda's Communications Commission. "You have the right to complain when larger tariffs have been deducted from your mobile phone contrary to what has been advertised."
