Kampala — While appearing on live television talk show on WBS TV on July 12, President Museveni said he executed the 1981-86 Bush War without the support of Mengo - the seat of Buganda Kingdom - but with the people of Buganda.
He recounted his meeting with now Kabaka Ronald Mutebi when he still lived in London as a crown prince who later toured liberated areas just towards 1986 before Kampala fell to bolster support of his subjects to the cause.
