Nigeria: Battle Day Still Shrouded

Lagos — A top executive of the Nigeria Olympic Committee, has sneak revealed at the weekend, the plan of the body to fix the date for the body's election in the next meeting that would be held in Abuja.

As if to back the to- notch officer, who wants to remain in anonymity up, the Public Relation Officer of the body, Tony Neizaiya, says the NOC is well aware that the attention of the whole country is now firmly focused on when elections into the various offices of the sporting body would hold and that fact is also on the back of their minds. But he said the body is more focused right now on its primary duties of laying a solid foundation for Youth Development through well-articulated Sports Programmes.
