Mozambique: Science Must Be Used to Increase GDP

Chidenguele — The need to improve the contribution made by science to increasing Mozambique's Gross Domestic Product was the theme that dominated a meeting of Coordinating Council of the Ministry of Science and Technology held last week in the southern resort of Chidenguele.

The event, which took place under the slogan "Science, Technology and Innovation oriented towards increasing the GDP", also discussed how to reverse the current balance of trade, where the value of imports greatly outweighs that of exports.
