Tanzania: Vandalism in Babati Causes TTCL Sh800 Million Loss

Babati — The Tanzania Telecommunications Company Limited (TTCL) has incurred a loss of Sh762 million as a result of vandalism to its equipment.

Its officials said equipment vandalised includes telephone cables and wires as well as solar panels.
