Kenya: Bureaucrats Accused of Ignoring Pokot-Turkana Clashes

Nairobi — The Provincial Administration has been accused of abetting boundary disputes between the Pokot and Turkana.

MPs Ekwe Ethuro (Turkana Central, PNU) and Ali Bahari (Isiolo South, Kanu) said the officers had buried their heads in the sand, ignoring increased insecurity and cattle raids. "It seems there is a silent policy to ignore boundary disputes," Mr Bahari said.
