Nigeria: PDP Reinstates Ogun Elders' Council

APPARENTLY in a last ditch effort to end the political crisis rocking Ogun State, the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday reinstated the Alhaji Sule Onabiyi-led State Elders Council which was suspended on September 15 last year.

Rising from the Central Working Committee meeting of the party in Abeokuta, the PDP also announced the constitution of a 15 member reconciliation committee to find a way of reconciling all aggrieved members.
