Benin — GOVERNOR Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State yesterday suspended the chairman of Oredo local government council, Mr. Nosa Ehima, for two months over alleged misappropriation of council funds.
According to the suspension letter addressed to the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Mr. Zakawanu Garuba, the governor explained that the two months suspension was to enable him set up a panel to look into the activities of his (Ehima) administration as entrenched in the state's local government laws.
