Luanda — Angolan minister of Planning, Ana Dias Lourenço, considered this Thursday here that the relations with the African Development Bank (AfDB) will contribute to the country's economic growth.
"This is an institution that should learn about the reality of our countries, and this visit will give way to this desire", the minister told journalists at the end of the audience that the Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, granted to the President of AfDB, Donald Kaberuka.
She defended the continuous existence of a more permanent and concrete dialogue with this continental economic institution.
Minister Ana Dias Lourenço stressed that AfDB has been assisting in projects linked to agriculture, construction and environment, among others.
According to instruction by the Head of State, the Angolan Planning minister also stressed the need for expanding cooperation to structural projects for the benefit of the country.
She made reference to transports, infrastructures, health and also to the assistance that AfDB might grant to the private sector.
