The Chairman of the Molepolole South region of the Botswana Democratic Party Kabo Morwaeng says it is time the government recognised sacrifices made by veteran MPs.
Morwaeng said as was the case with former presidents, the government should extend pensions to former MPs and councillors for their contribution to developing Botswana's democracy.
