Somalia: Harakat Al-Shabab Mujahideen Conducts Operations

Jowhar — The Islamic administration of Harakat Shabab Mujahideen forces have conducted operations in Jowhar town 90 kilometers in north of the Somali capital Mogadishu, officials told Shabelle radio on Sunday.

Reports from the town say that the forces of the Islamic administration conducted operations in the west of Jowhar town in Middle Shabelle region detaining several people who were suspected committing insecurity situations in the town.

The deputy commander of Harakat Al-shabab Mujahideen forces in the town said that they arrested more people from the areas they carried out their operations adding that they put them in the prison of the town asserting that they will be brought before the Islamic court in the town.

The official said that they will continue their operations in the west of the town to assure the security of whole the town as there had been insecurity in over the past few days.

The operations of Harakat Al-shabab Mujahideen comes as there had been banditry and insecurity situations around the town recently where more drivers traveling through the town met robbing and other banditry action in the region.
