Nigeria: 53 Year-Old Mother of Bayelsa Health Commissioner Abducted

Yenagoa — Barely two weeks after the abduction of the husband of former Bayelsa State Acting Chief Judge by yet to be identified gunmen, Madam Rachel Eruani, the 53-year-old mother of the state Commissioner for Health, Dr. Azibapu Eruani, was last Tuesday kidnapped by armed gunmen in police uniform at Opolo in Yenagoa.

Meanwhile, the kidnappers of Engr. Emmanuel Akpomiemie, husband of the wife of the former Acting Chief Judge of the state, Justice Margaret Akpomiemie, it was learnt, are insisting that the latter must be the one to deliver a N10 million ransom before he would be released.
