Lubango — At least 100,000 land plots for self-construction will be allotted to citizens by the end of this year countrywide, under the programme of housing foment.
This was announced Thursday in Luanda by the minister of Urbanisation and Environment, José Ferreira.
Speaking at the opening of the third broad Consultative Council of the Ministry, he said that 50 per cent of the mentioned number of plots have already been urbanised around the country's 18 provinces.
The official said that the initiative is part of the Government programme that aims at building one million social houses in four years.
