Angola: Magistrate Calls for Awareness to Reduce Witchcraft Crime

Luanda — The presiding judge of the Luanda Provincial Court, Augusto Escrivão, spoke out of the need for a commission to sensitise the society against the killing of people accused with witchcraft.

To the magistrate who was speaking to Angop, said the awareness should focus mainly on regions where the witchcraft issue is predominant as, he added, not everyone has access to the media to learn that killing someone over witchcraft is a murder crime.
