Uganda: Toyota Goes to Arua

Kampala — TOYOTA Uganda has opened a service and spare parts centre in Arua town. The facility targets clients in the West Nile region and parts of DR Congo and southern Sudan, Ian Walker, the Toyota managing director, said.

It will also have a Yamaha motorcycles sales point. "Our vision is to be the leading provider of quality services in the country," Walker said.

Richard Andama, the Arua district chairman, commended Toyota for taking services closer to clients, saying it played a major role in reducing on local government expenditure as they used to get the services from Kampala.
