Legal practitioners in East Africa are coming up with a common law that would see lawyers from member states practice freely anywhere in the region.
Ugandan Principal Judge James Ogoola said on Monday that soon, the practicing certificates issued to lawyers by authorities in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi will be accepted in the entire region.
