Freetown — Minister of health and sanitation has joined the UN health agency, WHO representative to commend the Kailahun district health management team (DHMT) for offering free Caesarean operations to pregnant women with complications.
Addressing both primary health and hospital staff during an assessment mission of health care delivery services on the challenges and the way forward, Sheku Tejan Koroma said the Kailahun DHMT was working in line with his current policy to ensure that pregnant women and under five children get free medical treatment in all government health facilities.
