Menongue — The Angolan minister of Family and Women Promotion, Genoveva Lino, Wednesday in Menongue, expressed satisfaction at travelling on eastern Kuando Kubango province's roads, which witnesses the Government effort to restore the communication network in the region.
Assessing the current condition of the streets in the province at the end of a three days visit to Kuando Kubango, the minister said the restoring of the communication network in the country is going satisfactorily.
At the locality of Cavanga, some 80 kilometres of Menongue, accommodating members of the Khoisan community, Genoveva Lino said the progress on the roads permit trips between the two localities with safety.
More than 70 kilometres of road from Menongue to Culei river, that cuts Kuando Kubango from central Bie provine, are being rehabilitated.
The minister returned Thursday to Luanda.
