Nigeria: Sheriff Urges Church to Pray for Borno

Maiduguri — Barely some weeks after the Boko Haram crisis that engulfed Maiduguri the, Borno State capital, the, state Governor, Senator Ali Sheriff has urged the church to pray for peace to reign in the State and the country at large.

The governor made the call when he received a delegation of Catholic Bishops led by Most Rev. Dr. Renzo Fratini, the Papal Nuncio to Nigeria and the Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Mrs Pauline Tallen who paid him a courtesy call at the Government House, Maiduguri.
