Nigeria: Boko Haram - Sheriff Inaugurates Investigative Committee

Maiduguri — Governor Ali Sheriff of Borno State has inaugurated a thirteen-man committee to investigate the immediate and the remote causes of the Boko Haram crisis that engulfed the state recently.

The committee headed by Ambassodor Gaji Galtimari is to among other things determine the immediate and remote causes of the incidence, identify the persons or group of persons responsible for the incidence, the extent and cost of properties destroyed and determine the number of lives lost in the course of the incidence.
