Nigeria: Esut Alumni Embarks On Charity Work

Abuja — The Enugu State University of Technology Alumni in Abuja yesterday embarked on a charity work to clean up the city of Abuja as part of its humanitarian service to the nation, the activities of the alumni which commenced in the popular Berger Junction, saw former students of ESUT resident in Abuja dressed in their alumni outfit with back-up from the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) and the FCT Traffic Officers.

Also, the programme, which was tagged: "Keep Abuja Clean" involved cleaning of the gullies, picking rubbish, emptyng bin cans as well as sweeping the roads and surroundings. The trek moved from Berger Junction to Wuse Market, to Military Pension, and finally ended at Jorany Restaurant in Wuse 2.
