He served in Sierra Leone, in charge of the UN Mission in Sierra Leone or UNAMSIL's general supply. There, there are allegations he was tied to the same circle-sex with under age children recruited by women he hired as "girlfriends". But when Dale Fosnight decided to dump his Liberian "girlfriend" for his Sierra Leone one, the lid was removed on his alleged activities deep in video-taped orgies with little girls, neighbours say and insiders say.

His Liberian "girlfriend, in an apparent show of vendetta as a response to being abandoned, blew her whistle. The security men moved in, placed him under house arrest, something he could not bear. Finally, this American, in charge of ensuring that the various military forces here in UNMIL comply with the provision of their MOU with the UN, decided the end had come, according to reports gathered from neigbours in Congo Town Old Road.

Reports say he double stabbed himself and finally died on Monday, August 24.

Just few meters off the Congo Town-Old Road main road, stands a huge fence housing the AGS, a firm and several other apartments, it is here that Mr. Fosnight took his own life.

Neighbours say he was betrayed by his Liberian "girl friend." They say she decided to report video evidence of her former lover's alleged orgies stored on a laptop to UN authorities after she was thrown out of their apartment for the Sierra Leonean girl.

One neighbor, who preferred anonymity, told this writer Tuesday that Mr. Fosnight was set up by his disgruntled Liberian "girlfriend." "She used to bring the little girls for the man to have sex with them and make rated-x movies," the neighbor said. Others confirmed saying they used to see lots of under age girls from around the area entering the compound but did not know their mission.

But another neighbor, who identified Mr. Fosnight as a senior UNMIL official said she saw him with the Sierra Leonean girl days before he ended his life, adding that his trouble began from the arrival of the Sierra Leonean girl.

"He was a UNMIL personnel. I don't know his name," the neighbor said. "Wednesday afternoon was the last time I saw him walked passed me. He was with his Sierra Leonean "girl friend," she added.

Pointing to the compound the neighbor said after he threw the Liberian girl out, the girl asked for a pay-off, according to her that was to end an undisclosed business partnership between the two. But apparently Mr. Fosnight could not come up with the full payment and had thrown her out.

So to get even for the settlement, she reported the matter to the police as she displayed the video evidence on the laptop. Neighbors say in addition to little girls being video tape in sexual orgy with the victim, images of the deceased in sexual acts with both his Liberian and Sierra Leonean girlfriend are also on the laptop.

Neighbors say after the Liberian girl reported the matter to both UNMIL and LNP, a group of top UNMIL, American and LNP personnel were seen at the compound and it was thereafter they learned that he was put under house arrest.

"The man was under house arrest," another neighbor interrupted. "Saturday this whole compound was surrendered by UNMIL Police and some big men from the Liberian Police," she continued.

One account said the deceased initially fled, but returned upon discovering that all the video evidence were in the hands of the security, adding that it was upon his returned that he was put under house arrest and left with a security.

On Sunday, neighbors said, Mr. Fosnight informed the security officer that he wanted to use the bath room. It was inside the bathroom that he took the knife and stabbed himself simultaneously on both side of his body, lied down in the bath tub and left the shower flowing.

"The water mixed with blood overflowed and reached the door before the security noticed what was happening and called," they said. "They brought in a doctor but it was too late, he died yesterday (Monday)," said another.

Efforts to talk to other neighbors, like officials of AGS, the firm, which is said to own the compound proved futile, a private security officer at the gate told this writer that the offices were congested with mainly visitors from the US Embassy, Labor Ministry and UNMIL. He was a very quiet man, the security officer said.

Photographs of pornographic scenes downloaded from cameras of unknown NGO workers here and sold outside of the country are very common. Last year, a colleague email several photographs of pornographic scenes depicting group of older women and men in various orgies here.

It is alleged that while in Sierra Leone, where Mr. Fosnight also operated an international car rental service, he was also engaged in sex with under age girls.
