Zimbabwe: Children's Home Official Accused of Raping Orphans

Harare — The deputy administrator of a children's home in Chinhoyi has appeared before a Chinhoyi magistrate to answer charges of raping two 15-year-old girls at the orphanage between 2006 and December 2008.

The teenagers were already rape victims when they went to the children's home for rehabilitation and counselling. Titus Charles Mandaza (52), who works for Good Shepherd Children's Home, is facing three counts of raping the two orphaned girls, one of them twice.
