Harare — THE Department of Veterinary Services says it has enough dipping chemicals in stock with most dip tanks countrywide now functioning following the Government's injection of US$1, 5 million last month to revive cattle dipping.
In most areas, cattle are dipping twice every month although some may not be functioning due to logistical problems. The department's chief veterinary officer, Dr Chenjerai Njagu, advised farmers to take their livestock for dipping to avoid losses through deaths from tick borne diseases.
