Nigeria: Yobe TV Renovation Gulps N152 Million

Damaturu — The Yobe State Commissioner for Information, Barrister Bala Haladu, yesterday said the actual costs of renovation work of the state owned television (YTV) is N152 million not N500 million as reported in the media including Daily Trust.

The Commissioner however added that the state executive council had approved additional N450 million for the supply of digital equipment to Desix Integrated Services Ltd, pointing out that the equipment would be installed as soon as the renovation work is completed.
