Mozambique: Tax Revenue over U.S.$900 Million in the First Half of 2009

Maputo — Mozambique Tax Authority (AT) has collected in the first half of this year over 25 million meticais (about 935,279 US dollars at the current exchange rates), which is 10.75 per cent above the projections for the current year.

According to Wednesday's issue of the daily paper "in real terms, the AT collected more than 18 billion meticais above its projections".
