Nigeria: Katsina Constructs N1.2 Billionn Dual Carriageway

Katsina — A 3.6 kilometre dual carriage road constructed at cost of over N1.2 billion has been commissioned by the Katsina State Government in Malumfashi council area of the state; as part of efforts aimed at decongesting and reducing excessive traffic in the area.

Speaking shortly before commissioning the project, Governor Ibrahim Shema said government had expended sum of N952 million for the road construction, while N50 million was spent for the provision of street lights.
