Harare — In spite of its myriad of socio-economic problems, one positive thing that our conflict has taught us is political awareness. Ask any Zimbabwean about his political rights, and he will tell you all -- from campaigning to voting and demanding representation and accountability.

The advent of the GPA has further affirmed these rights by encouraging tolerance of divergent political views, and creating the right atmosphere to exercise them.
