Rwanda: Tourism Institute Embarks On Customer Care Campaign

Kigali — Rwanda Tourism University College (RTUC) will next month launch a customer care campaign that will mark the opening of various workshops with key members of the business community.

The event will be held at Sports View hotel, Remera attracting officials from different sectors. These include finance, hospitality and other enterprises.

According to Emily Atinda, RTUC Public Relations Officer, the event will also see the university select its first ever Mr. and Miss RTUC.

Atinda explained that workshops will be conducted periodically with different partners to propagate a culture of offering the best services and explaining the impact of poor customer care services to businesses.

Atinda added that during the workshops, use of English as a medium of communication will be encouraged as one measure of curbing poor services that may arise due to of poor communication, with visitors coming into the country.
