Washington, DC — As part of activities marking the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's 39th Annual Legislative Conference, Congressman Donald M. Payne will be joined by a panel of experts to discuss Africa in the Age of Obama: U.S. Policy, Democratization, Conflict Resolution, and Weathering the Economic Storm.

Africa in the Age of Obama speakers will include:
- Johnnetta B. Cole – Director, Smithsonian National Museum of African Art
- Mo Ibrahim – Founder, Mo Ibrahim Prize for African Leadership
- Donald Kaberuka – President, African Development Bank
- Francis Deng – UN Secretary General's Special Adviser on Prevention of Genocide
- Bernadette Paolo – President and C.E.O., Africa Society of the National Summit on Africa.
There will be a special keynote address.
