Staff of Regional Hospital thank Mme Chantal Biya for the gesture.

The management and staff of the Bafoussam Regional Hospital have thanked Mme Chantal Biya, and the Chantal Biya Foundation for donating medical equipment and drugs to the Regional Hospital. The much-needed equipment and drugs were

presented to the staff of the Hospital by the Director of the Bafoussam Regional Hospital Dr Cheumaga Bernard on the 10th of September, at a ceremony chaired by Mr. Nzete Emmanuel board chairman of the Hospital management Committee and Government Delegate to the Bafoussam City Council. Addressing the guests and staff of the Hospital, board chairman of the management committee, Mr Nzete Emmanuel, thanked the Chantal Biya's Foundation, and its Founder Mme Chantal Biya for the humanitarian and philanthropic activities aimed at meeting the basic needs of patients in particular and Cameroonians in general. Describing Mme Chantal Biya as UNESCO goodwill ambassador, Mr Nzete Emmanuel sincerely thanked the first lady for adding Bafoussam regional hospital on the list of beneficiaries

nationwide. He reminded the staff of the hospital that Mme Chantal Biya's kind gesture will be felt only when the gifts are properly managed and directed to those who are in need, adding that the gifts were eloquent testimony that Madam Chantal Biya always provides assistance for the welfare and development of the entire nation.

Earlier the Director of the Bafoussam Regional Hospital Dr. Cheumaga Bernard, thanked Mme Chantal Biya for her concern about the welfare of patients in the hospital and promised that greater care will be given to the equipment so that one day Mme Chantal Biya will be invited to the Bafoussam Regional hospital to see what contribution the gifs are offering to the needy. He said the gifts, which included sanitary chairs, wheel chairs, trolleys and drugs, are coming at a time the hospital was in need to meet the medical care of the increasing number of patients. Dr Cheumega Bernard expressed the wish to see the cooperation between Chantal Biya Foundation and Bafoussam Regional hospital grow. He told heads of the various departments to make full use of the facilities placed at their disposal by Mme Chantal Biya..
