Kampala — UGANDA could be the proud host of some A-list hollywood celebrities. We are talking rapper Kanye West, actor Morgan Freeman, Justin Timberlake, among others.

The star-studded entourage is expected here on Wednesday ahead of their Kisiro trip on Thursday and gorilla tracking on Saturday.

The international celebrites are expected in the country courtesy of Uganda Wildlife Authority's campaign dubbed Friend-A-Gorilla.

The stars are expected to launch the campaign and invite people around the world to contribute to conservation of the mountain gorilla. They are also to spread conservation awareness about mountain gorillas.

Uganda has the largest number of mountain gorillas in the world.

Meryl Streep

She is one of the most talented and respected movie actors of the modern era. Streep has received 15 Academy Award nominations and 23 Golden Globe nominations. She won six of these awards. Her work has also earned her two Emmy Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards and a Cannes Film Festival Award.

Justin Timberlake

He is a pop musician/actor who has won six Grammy Awards and two Emmy Awards. His first two albums sold over nine million copies.

Hayden Penettiere

She is best known for her role as Claire on the hit TV show Heroes. Hayden made a big explosion in the media when she traveled to Japan to help save dolphins from poachers. She is a major animal rights activist and would serve our purpose of creating awareness.

Emile Hirsch

He is an A-list movie star who is known for his roles in Into the wild and Oscar winning, Milk. Hirsch is a major human rights activist and has spent time in Uganda working with the Invisible Children and Child Soldiers.

He is a perfect candidate for the gorilla conservation delegation.

Kanye West

He is an American rapper, record producer and author. His first three albums received numerous awards and critical acclaim. He also runs his own record label GOOD Music.

Jason Biggs

He starred in American Pie and My Best Friend's Girl. He is popular with teens.

Nicky Brendon

He was the star of the hit show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He is a reoccurring character on the TV show Criminal Minds. He is eager and excited about promoting Friend-A-Gorilla and the efforts of UWA.

Eddie Kaye Thomas

He is best known for his role as Finch in the film, American Pie. He has featured in Ugly Betty.

Simon Curtis

Best known for her role in the TV musical Spectacular, she is a humanitarian and activist for cancer research.

Kristy Wu

She is a TV actress known for her role as Chao-Ahn in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In addition to television, Wu, has starred in several feature films including Lions For Lambs.

Jessica Biel

She has starred in The Illusionist and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.

She is also known for her television role in the long-running family drama series 7th Heaven.

Victoria Justice

Justice's first major acting role was Lola Martinez on Zoey 101 and Spectacular.
