Luanda — The Defence attaché of Angolan Embassy in Zambia, col. André Cristóvão Manuel "Brazza", was distinguished recently in Lusaka with merit medal for the role played in promoting bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
The ceremony which followed a dispatch from the head of State and Commander of the Zambian Armed Forces, Ruphia Banda, took place at the Army's General Headquarters and was chaired by the chief of the Defence Forces of that neighbouring country, gen. Isaac Chisuzi.
According to a note from the diplomatic mission delivered Thursday to Angop, the function was attended by high ranking military officers and defence attachés accredited to Zambia.
Col. André Cristóvão "Brazza" was the military attaché of Angolan embassy in Zambia for two years.
