Luanda — Angolan minister of Home Affairs, Roberto Leal Monteiro, considered as extraordinary the efforts made by professionals of the National Economic Activities Inspection and Investigation Department (DNIIAE) in preventing and combating various offences.
In a press release made available to ANGOP this Friday, in Luanda, in the light of the 28th founding anniversary of this institution of the National Police, the government official stated that DNIIAE has been collaborating with other institutions in the implementation of strategies to prevent and combat economic crimes, thereby protecting the physical integrity of citizens.
To the minister, the current economic crisis is being reflected in different sectors of the country, and is creating distrust and uncertainty within Angolans.
He recognized and welcomed with pride the achievements made by the professionals of this department, because the insightfulness show contributes to the continuous high operation level of the institution.
The DNIIAE is an important institution of the police and is focussed on defending the interests of the Angolan state, particularly in the case of acts harmful to the economy.
