Angola: New Social Infrastructures Unveiled in Serra Da Kanda

Mbanza Kongo — Several social projects were inaugurated last Friday at Serra da Kanda, almost 45 kilometres south off Kuimba, north-western Zaire province, by deputy governor for technical services organisation, Rogério Eduardo Zabila.

Among the unveiled infrastructures were a primary school, two residences for teachers and nurses and a health centre.

Composed by four class-rooms, the school has the capacity for 360 students and its construction is included in the government programme for increase of basic social services for the population.

These infra-structures were inaugurated under the celebrations of September 17, National Hero Day.
