Nigeria: Ogbemudia Commends CBN Governor

Benin — Two-time governor of the defunt Midwest and Bendel States, Dr. Samuel Ogbemudia, has commended the Central Bank Governor, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, for his ingenuity in tracking down the ills in the banking sector.

Ogbemudia, who spoke to THISDAY in Benin City, said Sanusi deserved the national award of GCON, because "nobody before him in the history of CBN, was able to do what he has done. I think he needed to be congratulated. We need persons of his kind, so that our people will get to know how our money is being used,".
