ONE respected Indian scribe previewed the International Cricket Council (ICC) Champions Trophy with the view that the three teams from the subcontinent would be largely making up the numbers in SA because of their inability to deal effectively with the short ball on the bouncy pitches.
For his next article he is planning to predict a rapid return to prosperity for the global economic market, an end to global warming and, at the very least, a surge to the semifinals of next year's World Cup for Bafana Bafana.
