South Africa: Government Told to Go Back to the Drawing Board on Crime

Johannesburg — ORGANISED business and security analysts have called on the government to go back to the drawing board in the fight against crime.

This follows the release of crime statistics yesterday, which showed that while murders, bank robberies and ATM bombings had decreased in the last financial year, house and business robberies had risen significantly in the same period.
