Lagos — Journalists on Tuesday demanded a coroner's inquest into the death of The Guardian Assistant News Editor, Bayo Ohu, who was gunned down in his home on Sunday by people the police say are assassins.
His murder adds to the growing number of journalists murdered in the past two decades, beginning with Dele Giwa, followed by Bagauda Kaltho, Godwin Agbroko, Omololu Falobi, and Abayomi Ogundeji - all of whose deaths have not been resolved.
